Today was a great day! It was community day so we didn't have to work like always and today for community day we went to...drum roll please...
To the ZOO!!! Woot woot! It was so much fun, but definitely exhausting! We got to see lots of animals and we even got to visit the rift valley in Kenya! :) haha well we got to see the animals that live there! We were able to see my favorite animal as well...a MONKEY! YAY! I get really excited about talking about monkeys because they are that awesome!
After the Zoo we came home, after stopping at sonic for happy hour of course, and relaxed before I went to work for a little bit to help with the eagle scout project that a boy scout did to get bikes for all of the kids at the center! The kids loved it and even the middle schoolers were able to get bikes too! Everyone went home super happy! All and all it was a great day!
Well I just remembered that I was going to tell everyone about my future plans...like after this year is over...in august...well its been decided for a little while now and some of you may know about it already but here it goes...I am becoming a clown! HAHAHA just kidding I am going to be staying in the lovely San Antonio for another YAV year! So I will now be here until August 2013! :) And tentatively I am thinking about teaching in San Antonio as well after my next YAV year but who knows everything may change by then its still a long way away! :)
